  2. Firefox for Android - replaces stock browser, allows privacy-enhancing plugins
  3. K-9 mail - replaces gmail etc., intergrates well with APG
  4. FDroid - replaces "google play" - catalogue of free software
  5. Replacements for google maps:

             - OsmAnd - open street map viewer, GPS tracker, off-line atlas and direction calculator

             - HappyCow VeginOut - restaurant & grocery locator

             - Bike Hub- cycle journey planner & info
