Rebelli-oke

Rebelli-oke is a logical extension from Raveoke - its the same concept of taking marginal or subculture specific songs and turning them into kareoke songs and playing them as a way of building solidarity of resistance cultures.

At the 1 in 12 we can experiment with a new way of making them which is;

  • crowdsourced
  • decentralised
  • using online free network tools

Process

  • find a video you like which is popular with our 1 in 12 target market
  • put it on universal subtitles [1]
  • log in to save your work there
  • add the link and song to the hackionlab wiki
