HacktionLab Autumn 2025

Our next gathering will be at the Sumac Centre in Nottingham, UK from the evening of Thursday 2nd October to lunchtime on Sunday 5th October.

Talks, Activities, and Workshops

We're collecting proposals and ideas for talks, activities and workshops at Workshops for HacktionLab Autumn 2025. If you already have a login for this wiki, please go to that page to add your own proposals, otherwise, why not join and email our mailing list to make a proposal.

Social Events

For the Friday night we'll be joining in with the monthly Sumac Open Mic a jam-style performance space where all are encourage to take part, or simply sit back and enjoy. There is a bar at the Sumac serving alcoholic and soft drinks.

For Saturday we are open for ideas.

For Sunday, and to close the event, we encourage you to stay for the Sumac Sunday Brunch.

Cost

We are currently in the process of working out how much it'll cost, but we hope to keep things cheap, and the cost will include food that will be vegan - we are hoping to have the World-famous Veggies, vegan cafe collective cater for us. Expect the cost to range between £30 and £50 for the whole event and do offer discounts depending on your means.

Sign-up

There will be catering so we are keen to know of numbers in advance. Note: we need to keep an eye on numbers for the purpose of making sure we have enough catering and space for us, so if you're intending to come, please email hl2025 _at_ hacktionlab _dot_ org.

Accommodation

You can bunk down on the floor of the Sumac for free. We're also looking for other spaces with friends in Nottingham, so let us know if you can offer any, or if you require any, by emailing hl2025 _at_ hacktionlab _dot_ org.
